Wyoming Michigan was founded in 1832 as part of Byron Township. It became it’s own official city in 1959. According to the 2010 census, the population was 72,125. This makes it the largest suburb of Grand Rapids, third largest city in Western Michigan, and the 14th largest city in Michigan.
